Our Story

GrassKitty was born from a simple idea — our beloved house cats were missing something essential: nature. Watching them gaze longingly out the window, we knew they deserved more than just toys and treats. They needed a patch of the wild — something to sink their paws (and teeth) into. So we created GrassKitty: a fresh, natural grass patch that brings the outdoors inside.

Inspired by their wild ancestors, GrassKitty gives cats a place to nibble, stretch, roll, and feel at home — a little slice of the world their instincts remember. Whether it’s lounging in the sun or chomping on crisp blades of fresh grass, it’s their personal patch of paradise.

We use only the highest quality, edible grass seeds — safe, chemical-free, and cat-approved. Our packaging is 100% recycled cardboard, and our plastic trays are made from biodegradable sugarcane, safe enough to eat (but we hope your cat sticks to the grass).

We're not just here to make cats happy. We're here to give back. That’s why 5% of every purchase goes directly to animal shelters, and as we grow, we plan to give even more.
